  11. Here's a problem I had today. Any ideas anyone?

  13. Win 95 system working fine. Installed Dial Up Networking , etc for PPP
  14. net connection and as soon as the modem is accessed to dial service
  15. provider, the mouse freezes up and WILL NOT respond to anything! The
  16. keyboard shortcuts still work OK and the net connection goes OK, but
  17. the point and click Netscape interface isn't nearly as appealling when
  18. you can't point OR click!

  26. Logitec Serial Mouse
  27. COM ports are on motherboard (Pentium 100 machine)

  29. tried moving COM2 to 02E8 - no change
  30. used CMOS to change IRQ3 from PCI/PnP to ISA/EISA - no change
  31.  
  32. Even using diagnostic software to read the modem internal registers
  33. causes the mouse to instantly freeze up.
